The Chupka Family

My friend Gina gave her mom a gift certificate for photography on her birthday last year and finally the whole family was together (some all the way from Texas) to use it last week! We met in Cocoa Beach and narrowly escaped the rain as so many of my evening sessions do lately! We had a good time, and mostly took portraits which is what her mom really wanted. I really love the browns they wore, its one of my favorite colors for photos. You can tell this family genuinely enjoys each other's company and has fun together. The tide was in really far which made things a little more complicated but a lot more interesting!

The Jones Family

The Jones extended family were all together here in Melbourne for their parent's (and grandparents) anniversary and wanted to get a family photo. I know one family was all the way from Kentucky and another I think was here from Texas. We met at Ryckman park and took a few family photos then let kids play a little while I photographed them candid. Here's a few from the day!

Joel and Jennifer

Joel and Jennifer currently live in Georgia but they are getting married here in August at Central Baptist Church of Melbourne and having their reception at the Indian River Colony Club in Viera. They were in town last weekend for the final time before the wedding and we had their engagement shoot scheduled for Sunday evening. Just about an hour before time to start it was really storming outside and I was worried we would have to cancel (rescheduling wasn't an option since their plans were to leave afterward on vacation at Hilton Head and then back to GA.) But, the rain gave way to clear skies and the weather was beautiful - yay! See you guys in August!

Michael and Elizabeth

I met Michael and Liz last weekend for their engagement session. Their wedding is coming up in the fall here in Melbourne at Ascension Catholic Church and the Suntree Country Club. They came over from the Orlando area to spend the weekend finalizing wedding planning. We had some windy conditions but it just contributed to the fun Michael and Liz have together! I look forward to being their wedding photographer in October!

Katie

I met Katie in Cocoa Beach last Friday for her senior portraits. She will graduate from high school this year in Cincinnati, Ohio and wanted some unique senior pictures. Katie seems to be a sweet young lady who has big plans for her future. Hope you enjoyed your vacation in Florida Katie - best wishes as you graduate!

Tyler and Casey

I first met Tyler at a birthday party for his grandfather I photographed, I think two years ago. What a cutie, and now there's Casey, his younger brother - quite the ham. We met in Melbourne Beach and had a great time. Children this age might not be excited about everything you ask them to do, but they are easy to photographing doing whatever it is they want to do!

He would have been happy with bucket and shovel for hours...

I love their mom's red hair! It's the perfect color!
