The Bee Family

I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Noelle's family last weekend at Ryckman Park. It was super crazy windy so I found a spot of shelter and we pretty much stayed put! Since the family isn't all together that often - some of them being here from out of town - we didn't want to reschedule. I don't think I had seen Noelle since high school. (We cheered together - and yes I am saying that with my hand over my mouth hoping you won't catch the cheerleading part... There I am clearing my throat again. I don't know why but I'm kind of embarrassed by it! I was too cynical for it, hated all the "go team" stuff and quit after sophomore year.) ANYWAY, Noelle's little boy Aidan is just as sassy as his mom. I remember at Satellite -go scorps (spirit fingers) Noelle had this super-friendly-slash-don't-you-even-think-about-crossing-me-personality. She kept me guessing, wondering if we were buds or if she was going to turn me to dust with her lazer beam stare at any moment. Noelle just had that kind of leadership quality and I can tell her little guy does too. He is full of energy! The whole family had a good time and I think our wind-storm photo session went really well!

Casie and Matt

I shot Casie and Matt's wedding a week and a half ago in Cocoa Beach, FL. They were married at the Tides and had their reception there as well. Casie and Matt decided to have a "first look" before the wedding. This is a special little piece of time together to soak it all in... and of course the added benefit of getting all their portraits taken before dark! We set Casie up to come down the isle to Matt and he was so adorable watching her. These guys are really a very sweet couple, always laughing and truly enjoying each other's company. It was pleasure to be their photographer. I left for Vegas and WPPI the following day and got back home a few days ago. As soon as I dig myself out of pressing work, I will get some stuff up here of WPPI and all the fun tourist stuff too! Stay tuned!

Chris and Jennifer's Wedding

I photographed Chris and Jennifer's destination wedding last weekend in St. Augustine, FL. It was so much fun for me since I lived there and went to college there and moved away in 2001. St. Augustine is a place my family loves to visit frequently so we all took the trip up together and they got to "play" on Saturday while I was "working." Jennifer and Chris were married at the Lightner Museum and had their reception at the Columbia Restaurant. This is all in walking distance so we shot their "just married's" around town while we walked to the reception. Jennifer was beautiful in her vintage inspired dress and accessories. The first few images here are designed as album spreads for my beautiful, custom designed, flush mount albums. They can also be purchased as 10x20 standouts. Catalog here. Enjoy the highlights! You can see Jennifer and Chris's engagement shoot here.

Nothing better than wet pavement - I HEART WET PAVEMENT.

This of the flower girls is precious to me. They had no idea I was shooting since I was way down the hall. Those are always the best!

Reception fun... I used to live just around the corner from the Columbia. Although as a college student I definitely wasn't dining there very much! This sangria (made fresh at the table) looked soooo yummy I even asked the waiter if I could purchase a bottle to go. Apparently that is not something they do - bummer! Jennifer's dad was singing to her while they danced. So sweet.

Seriously you would not believe what it took to get this hallway clear of people, cleaning supply carts, etc. and then just between these two pics we had an unexpected guest... I should find those pics too funny!

found it! the best part was when he asked me out, I tried to explain I was busy...

This is the side of a restaurant that my husband and I had our first "date date." The Old City House. Good times. How gorgeous is this bridesmaid?

LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Jennifer you are a pro in front of a camera!
