The Strand Family

I met with the Strand family before Christmas in Melbourne Beach to take their family photos before dad is deployed and while they are still a family of three (mom is expecting!) What a cute family and this little one is precious! Can't wait to photograph the maternity and newborn for the next baby! I want to say too how thankful my own family is for our military and the sacrifice they and their families have made for our freedom. Happy New Year and enjoy the highlights!

Family Pics!

I don't get pics of my own family that often and when we actually try to get one of the kids together it usually turns into a big headache (go figure) but today they shocked us (see the last 5.) It is amazing what they will do for a fruit snack. Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

Mary wasn't shy!

priceless, I love crying babies on Santa's lap!

Rodriguez Family

I shot the Rodriguez family portraits last week in Melbourne Beach. The whole family was together for an early Christmas and the youngest daughter, Jessica, arranged for a family session as a gift. It was a cold and windy day but we came away with some good stuff! This one above was not even staged, which I love. I have known this family for a super long time so it was fun getting to capture some special (and sometimes chaotic) moments for them! Jessica is a possible sister-in-law candidate for me (hee hee) and Joyce has been my friend since forever. She will be engaged soon (ring yet?) to the handsome Mario (hope I spelled that right!) Enjoy and Merry Christmas Rodriguez family!

what an adorable couple!

you guys too.

a little family chaos, my favorite is the brotherly love in the back

Office Before and After!

Well, it took me some time to get to these but I had to show you what a difference Rebecca Patterson made in bringing my new office space together! I am very happy to finally have a meeting place and showroom for all my products! I also have the studio set up there for the occasional studio shoot. In the last year there has been a huge increase in people who would like help with their orders, wedding consultations and clients asking to see various display products (canvas types, metal, acrylic, etc.) Meetings at Starbucks just couldn't accommodate all this anymore so I set out in search of space, then got Rebecca on the job for her unique decorating gift combined with savvy shopping expertise. Contact me for her info! Thanks to everyone who made this possible for Angel Gray Photography! --p.s. you'll have to click to see these bigger, can't figure out why things appear so small here sometimes!

Melbourne Community Church Christmas Pageant

Mary participated in our church's first ever Christmas Pageant this past Sunday and it was terrific. I put together a simple slideshow to share... here goes.... Music is from one of my favorite Christmas albums: JOY: Ed Cash, Allen Levi and Bebo Norman all musicians who have participated in some way with Young Life! You can find it here.

I met up with the Siniscal family last week at Ryckman park. There are a few reasons this family session was so fun. First of all, I grew up 2 doors down from Brandy and second I shot her wedding portraits right here in the same park a few years ago. I haven't seen them since then because they live in California, so to meet again and get to see this new arrival, was a pleasure. It's just too bad I won't get to do it more often! I do offer travel of course if they wanted to fly me out... I think I could handle that.

love this one!

would look very cute next to the pic of them walking down the same pier on their wedding day

real men take spit up in stride...
