Tyler and Heather

Tyler and Heather's wedding this past Saturday was located in beautiful Harmony, Florida. I had never been there so it was really neat to see the small town which is an attempt at actual small town life, complete with designated paths for walking to school, a town tavern and front porches on every home. They were married outside with great weather (except an occasional wind gust, which was only to their benefit -adding some humor to the ceremony!) The reception was in the Harmony ballroom, which is a great place for events with a very attentive staff and wedding coordinator. We started out at Heather's best friend's lake house and got a few bridals there which was great because the wedding started a little late and we would not have had time for those after the ceremony! Heather and Tyler were so happy to be tying the knot and their family and friends were obviously thrilled for them as well. Here's some images from the day... I'll add some explanation on a few of them --Have a great honeymoon Tyler and Heather!

Heather's son and Tyler's daughter were the ring bearers, seriously some cute kids!

I LOVE this shot. Not because there is anything special about how it was taken, but because right here there are two men experiencing at the same time one of the proudest moments of their lives and we get to see their faces simultaneously. Lucky girl!

Flush Mount Album

Ahhh, I finished working on an album yesterday for Jaramy and Rayla. Albums are truly a labor of love I must say because I like to custom design each one so that they tell their own story in a unique way. I edit each photo included (which the client picks out themselves or with my help if they need it) going through each one with a fine tooth comb for both technical and cosmetic adjustments. Next I work on the design layout until I'm finished, then let it sit a few days before ordering - just so I can take a final look with fresh eyes and make any final changes or touch ups. The album Jaramy and Rayla ordered is the best you can get and well worth it. The flush mount panoramic album has a beautiful hard cover which they chose in leather and the pages inside are actual photographs mounted to a thicker, sturdier page which opens on a special hinge and lays perfectly flat. This means I can design layouts across both pages without losing anything in the middle. It also means the album will last them a lifetime and I hope they will enjoy it for many years to come! Their session on Cocoa Beach near Patrick Air Force Base, started out a couples session and became an engagement session after Jaramy proposed during our photo shoot! It was so fun to be there for that!! They chose a 10x10 album with 20 spreads (75 images.) So, here's a few fun pages that tell the story... each of these is a "spread" actually two pages, opened up and laying flat.
Before she knew she was about to be engaged...

Here it comes, we asked Rayla to take a walk down the beach for a special shot while Jaramy got to work writing the big question in the sand... the water washed it a way once so we had to stall her while he did it again...

She said yes!

My fave spread, I just have a thing for feet in the water...

Well guys, you should have your book soon, I hope you love it!

Amy and Clint

Clint and Amy's wedding on Saturday was beautiful! They had perfect weather for the ceremony which was outside at Ryckman Park in Melbourne Beach, Florida. Such a cute, young couple with a strong Christian faith and wonderful family and friends supporting them in their new life together. Their reception was at the Hilton Rialto in Melbourne off Babcock Street. I was impressed by the staff there who worked hard to make everything run perfectly! It is always a privilege photographing a wedding, to capture all those special moments I know they will treasure forever. Clint and Amy, I hope you're having a terrific honeymoon!

Welcome to Angel Gray Photography's New Blog

Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog!

In an effort to keep www.AngelGrayPhotography.com current and updated more frequently, I have started this blog. The blog will be updated with each session/event/wedding within a day or two of the shoot. I’ll post an image or two and talk about the work. This will give you a glimpse of your pictures before they are all ready online and will keep everyone informed on my latest work.

Plus, I have great news for all my great clients! In the past year my business has doubled and I want to thank all of you for your loyal support of Angel Gray Photography by offering you a special deal. Go now to the newly updated AngelGrayPhotography.com and get 50% off any pictures from your previous sessions displayed in my online portfolio.

You may purchase as shown, in any size print, at half off the regular price! You can request the current pricing and email your order directly to me specifying which image, what size and how many. This order needs to be separate from any other and cannot be combined with other discounts. I will extend the offer to any friends and family who want to order your photos. Remember, the portfolio is divided into 11 categories so you may find parts of your sessions in various places. For example, if you had a family session including a pet, you could be in family, children, headshots, couples and pets! Keep that in mind and look closely for all your special moments! This offer is good through April 30th!

Plan ahead for your next photography session or event! As spring is almost here, think about the mothers in your life and how much they would love the gift of photography and one of my custom handbags!

Both my mom and mother in law have one I gave them for Christmas (with a photo of my children on it) and now it’s all they want for every holiday. People are constantly stopping them to ask where they got it! Gift certificates are available or book soon if you would like prints/products in time for the special day. I am typically booking two weeks out for private sessions and accepting up to two weddings per month, which of course book further out.

Thanks again for making my job so fun!
